My opinion about the article:
Before entering the workforce, internship is a helpful experience.
I think internships work for not only practical experiences but also can learn more.
If internship can't get the wage, maybe many people will think that's unfair, but I don't think so.
A great company affords internships that executives want interns to be trained before start working, and the training time is completely reasonable to unpaid.
After several months, perhaps the company can paid for the interns because some of them are working hard and really well done.
It's not fair to get the internship opportunities established connections to the company or industry. 
If a student who has great ability but without these resources or connections to get a opportunity, it will be a loss for the company and pity for the student.
In the future, I want to get a internship by myself because I'll cherish the chance.
